The Day of the Dead is a Mexican tradition that dates back to the pre-Columbian era whereby the passage from life to death is celebrated. The celebration of this particular year represents an opportunity for the Mexican and foreign community to remember and pay tribute to Miguel Ángel Jiménez Blanco, a person that fought for justice in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. The resistance he led will not be easily forgotten.
